Casa Cook Ibiza is looking for a qualified Head chef, who has a big passion for food, with high quality and a local touch. You will be responsible for all food offerings at the hotel, with two restaurants (with strong à la carte focus) and a bar, leading and developing the kitchen staff. The ultimate goal is to succeed in making each guest’s culinary experience unique and increase customer satisfaction.



As part of the preopening team, the Head chef is responsible for actively supporting the GM in choosing the kitchen staff, building up a complete kitchen team, providing the new staff with trainings and setting up the menues in alignment with the Casa Cook F&B standards as well as all documentation and standardization of dishes. 


  • Managing cost control through planning and supervision of purchasing, production and labour costs, storage management, ensuring budgets are met.
  • Menu development and management for our à la carte menus, both with a local focus as well as internationally inspired dishes.
  • Responsible for production, quality and presentation of the breakfast buffet offer and of all other food offers.
  • Responsible for personnel in the kitchen and stewarding.
  • Leading and developing the staff, including daily briefings and meetings.
  • Analyze results, make action plans and provide reports.
  • Uphold sanitation rules, HAACP and follow health and safety regulations.
  • Apply best practices and be up to date with cooking trends.



  • Highly experienced in high quality à la carte restaurant service, preferably in an international hotel chain.
  • Proven preopening record.
  • Interested and experienced in sustainable local as well as in internationally inspired healthy cuisine.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and have a good knowledge in English.
  • Strong hands-on mentality.
  • Experienced in menu management, cost calculation, cost control and staff planning.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Degree in Culinary Science or relevant certificate.
