Key accountabilities and decision ownership [max 8]:

  • Front line support for Freedom Personal Travel Advisors and Freedom Consortia Members for customer payments
  • Responsible for reconciliation of  banking
  • Liasing with suppliers to ensure statements are paid and reconciled in a timely manner
  • Support the specialist divisions management teams with the business MI and ad hoc requests
  • Investigate and solve problem issues and queries in a timely and efficient manner, minimising losses to help the profit margin.
  • To attend training sessions as requested
  • Effective communication via email and telephone with suppliers and customers as well as other teams/departments within the business
  • Handling telephone calls from the internal and external customers

Skills, know-how and experience [max 8]:

Must have:

  • Our ideal  candidate will have proven experience of working in the travel industry ideally from a Customer Services or Administration back ground with passion and enthusiasm for world class customer service. 
  • Ability to use own initiative and self motivated
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Able to work and adapt to pressurised situations
  • Knowledge of the Travel Industry

 

Preferred:

  • Understanding of Tour Operator practices and travel legislation

Technical / professional qualifications:

  • Basic IT skills
  • You will need to be a competent user of the Microsoft Office packages including Word / Excel / PowerPoint and also have great keyboard skills.

  • Meeting and achieving deadlines in line with service level policy
  • Works in accordance with business policies and department standards
