An exciting opportunity has risen as Thomas Cook is currently looking for a Content Marketing Executive.
The Content Marketing Executive plays a key role in creating and executing content marketing strategies that drive engagement, boost brand visibility, and generate holidays purchases. You will be responsible for creating high-quality content across a range of channels, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and business goals.

What will your journey with us look like?
- Content Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with the wider business to develop content strategies that align with our overall marketing objectives and business goals.
- Content Creation: Create a variety of content including blog posts, website copy, social media posts (including reels, stories) , SEM ads, email campaigns, product content..
- SEO & Content Optimisation: Implement on-page SEO best practices to increase organic traffic. Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engines, improving content ranking and visibility.
- Social Media: Manage and optimize social media content (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram), working closely with the social media team to create engaging posts that drive traffic and interaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, commercial, product, and PR to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and supports key marketing initiatives.
- Audience Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to ensure content resonates with the target audience and enhances brand positioning.

What will you need to succeed?
- Proven Experience: 1-3 years of content marketing experience, with a good understanding of content strategy, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
- Content Creation: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with evidence of written content across a variety of formats.
- SEO Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
- Content Management Systems: Experience with CMS platforms (ideally Magnolia) and social media tools such as HootSuite
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze content performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity & Innovation: Creative thinker with a passion for producing engaging, high-quality content that resonates with audiences
