As the world’s oldest travel brand, Thomas Cook has been shaping travel since 1842. In September 2020, Thomas Cook, one of the most recognisable names in tourism, returned as an online travel agency. It is now part of the Polish-based eSky Group, which owns and operates brands like eSky and eDestinos in 50 markets across the globe. Together, we develop solutions that inspire people to explore the world and we turn these inspirations into experiences.

With ATOL-protected holidays and city breaks packages, the new Thomas Cook allows customers to design their own trip according to their budget, needs, and specifications. Customers can fly from all major UK airports with direct flights from all major carriers, thousands of hotels to choose from, and add-ons including car hire, insurance, and attractions.

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Paid Social Media Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns with a performance marketing focus across key platforms such as Meta and TikTok. In this role, you will manage both the strategy and daily operations of paid social media efforts, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing and sales objectives of the eSky Group. Success in this position requires strong leadership, close collaboration with different teams, sharp analytical skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving.

Challenges:

  • Lead the strategy, plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns with a focus on ROAS and CAC across Meta, TikTok and potentially other social channels.
  • Supervise and mentor a small team of specialists providing guidance, feedback, and support (one person, with potential to grow).
  • Build and manage dynamic ad campaigns using product catalogues across Meta and other platforms, ensuring the correct definition and maintenance of product feeds, catalogue integrations, and audience retargeting funnels.
  • Run continuous A/B tests on creative, copy, audience, and bidding strategies.
  • Collaborate with design/content teams to develop compelling ad creatives tailored for performance goals.
  • Stay up to date on platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices in paid social performance marketing.
  • Manage budgets for paid social campaigns, including forecasting, allocation, and reporting on spend efficiency.
  • Use analytics tools to track, measure, and report on campaign performance, ensuring continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
  • Direct targeting strategies, including the development of custom and lookalike audiences to optimize reach and performance.
  • Present performance reports, strategic recommendations, and insights to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and competitor benchmarks to keep campaigns innovative and competitive.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing and ensure best practices in paid social are adopted across teams.
