You’ll turn our strategy into reality
We have big plans for our business, and IT is central to all of them. This is the division that helps to make those plans come alive. Architecture, Technology and Development really is powering our transformation.
In Architecture, we’re making sure we have all the IT fundamentals in one place. In other words, we’re synchronising our processes, systems and technology right across the business. And we’re not just about making sure everything is in sync – we’re also looking ahead too; thinking about what needs to happen next and how we can make any changes even more profitable.
Our Development team is where our hard-core programmers sit. And whilst exceptional development skills are a must here, we’re also after that little bit more. You’ll need a good head for business. And a real focus on our customers. One of the key challenges for us is how we can simplify our different channels for our customers – we want to create customer-facing development tools that are bespoke, quick to build and aligned with our wider marketing strategy.
Join us in either team, and you’ll be at the forefront of our transformation strategy. You won’t just be implementing it; you’ll have the freedom you need to shape it. So whether you’re looking after our back-end systems or taking responsibility for our mobile, web and in-store applications, it will be down to you deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
This is an environment that’s all about delivering leading-edge solutions and using IT to transform the business, so we’re looking for people who know how to use technology to drive a business forward and boost its competitive advantage.
As you’d expect, there’s always a huge amount going on in this team so you need to be ready for constant challenges, and ready to have fun. You’ll be self-motivated, commercially-minded and driven – you’ll always be looking out for new ways to add value.
Why join us?
“If you start with a business strategy which is all about high-tech, high-touch – if you’re part of an organisation that wants to use technology to transform itself – that’s a very exciting place to be for any technologist. We’re trying to do something with technology that nobody’s really done before, so you’re going to have fun, you’re going to be excited, and you’re going to be challenged.”
