Administrators

In these roles you really do get the best of both worlds. As well as the chance to develop your skills and your career in a multi-national company, you also get to travel and explore. Our Administrators work everywhere from Turkey to Portugal, Greece to Spain, so the variety is endless. There’s plenty of variety in the role, too. Part of a small team that’s helping to make everything in resort run smoothly, you’ll be answering emails and phone calls from a huge range of people including guests, Reps, hotels, suppliers, and agencies. Whether you’re collating a guest arrivals list, helping a customer who’s unwell sort out their insurance forms, or liaising with the finance team back in the UK, your efficiency and customer service skills will make you a vital part of the team. To join us you need to have some basic IT and customer service skills. You’ll also need to be pro-active, quick to learn and willing to lend a hand anywhere in the team when it gets busy. Rest assured, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to build your skills and climb the career ladder with our ‘Step Up’  programme. We’ll also take very good care of you whilst you’re abroad, giving you good accommodation and full insurance.

“Since I joined Thomas Cook, I’ve worked in Greece, Spain and right now I’m in Thailand, which is just so different to Europe – a completely different culture. In my first postings, I just stayed for six months, and then moved on – but I plan to stay in Thailand longer as there’s just so much to explore. And my accommodation here is brilliant. I’m staying in a really nice hotel.

I was a Rep at Thomas Cook for two seasons, and then I decided I’d like to work on the Administration side. You can learn a lot about business and about finance – and also how the whole of Thomas Cook fits together. It’s challenging, but I’m learning a lot – and I’ll be able to use all this knowledge in my career going forward.

I’m part of a really small team. There’s only six of us – but you build really strong friendships out here – socialising together, and exploring the culture together as well as being work colleagues.”
