How to apply
We’re very pleased that you want to join us here at Thomas Cook. A few important points about applying. Please apply from 1st October for all Summer 2017 opportunities.
Only apply for one role
If you apply for more than one overseas position for Summer 2017, your application will be automatically rejected. When we get your form, we’ll assess it against specific job criteria. If we feel you’re more suited for another role, we’ll put you forward for that one instead. So there’s really no need to apply for more than one position.
Make sure you type your email address correctly
You’d be surprised how many people don’t! It’s the only way we have of getting in contact with you, so please check it carefully.
We’ll ask you to complete a few screening questions within the application form – in as much detail as possible please. There’s no closing date – we close applications when we have the people we need – so do get your application in early. If you’re successful, you’ll be contacted within ten working days and invited to an offline video interview. Should you be successful at that stage, it’s time to attend one of our assessment centres. We’ll tell you more about this day via email nearer the time, so don’t forget to check your email (including your spam/junk email) regularly. There’ll be group and individual activities as well as an interview, and a chance to find out more about working abroad. After this, we’ll let you know by phone within ten working days whether or not you’ve got the job. If you accept, you’ll go through our induction programme, and when this is complete, it’s off to one of our destinations for the summer. Good luck. And don’t forget, only apply for one role!
